Free music and movies in Yakima all summer | News


YAKIMA, Clean. — Absolutely free summer months entertainment will be out there in Town of Yakima parks through Summer time 2022 by multiple series, like the Summer season Live performance Series, Viva La Musica and the Outside Summertime Cinema Sequence. 

“The notion is to encourage households to deliver blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy the totally free live shows and films outdoors,” reported Ken Wilkinson, Parks and Recreation Supervisor. “The neighborhood is invited to take it easy and pay attention to great tunes or view household movies in a beautiful park.” 

Every Sunday by August 14, a relatives movie will be revealed at Chesterley Park. Videos commence at sunset in close proximity to the corner of 40th Avenue and River Highway. The motion picture lineup includes:

  • July 10 – Clifford the Major Pink Dog 

  • July 17 – Raiders of the Lost Ark

  • July 24 – Spirit Untamed 

  • July 31 – Field of Goals

  • August 7 – Spider-Guy: No Way Property

  • August 14 – Encanto 

The Summer months Sunset Concert Sequence will attribute a unique performance in Franklin Park from 6-8 p.m. each individual Friday as a result of August 12. The artist lineup features:

  • July 8 – DieBruder – basic rock

  • July 15 – Less than the Addresses – 80s and 90s rock

  • July 22 – Pink Gentle Problem – option and indie pop 

  • July 29 – Camille Bloom – people rock

  • August 5 – American Honey Band – state and rock

  • August 12 – Spiced Rye – Americana 

Viva La Musica will be at numerous spots throughout the summertime, offering family members-helpful Latin tunes on Sundays from 5-7 p.m. The very first 3 live shows will be at Miller Park:

  • July 10 – Los del RegioCalentano 

  • July 17 – Tremendous Escandalo 

  • July 24 – Banda la Palmera
