A single compact move for guy, one large leap for Gracelyn Jennette.

Gracelyn Jennette, a seventh grader at 7 Rivers Christian School, a short while ago put initially all through the nation in the seventh grade division of the 2022 NASA Langley Investigate Center’s University student Artwork Contest: “Drawn to Explore” with her drawing of her most loved astronaut, Neil Armstrong.

Jennette has constantly had an interest in artwork. At her kindergarten registration, when presented the activity to draw her family, she didn’t draw mere stick figures. She drew totally in-depth bodies with specific eye colours, ears, hair and even smiles. Her talent for visible arts is a thing she’s often experienced. Her artwork for the contest was completed applying paint pens to make her individual exceptional type using geometrical designs and vibrant hues.

In the future, Jennette desires to use her art in the area of psychology to develop a safe area though performing with young children. “I in the end hope to use my artwork abilities for little ones trying to get help to get over the hurts they may well know,” reported Jennette.

She doesn’t just have an interest in visible arts, nevertheless. Jennette is also a member of the SRCS band, this being her 2nd year taking part in flute. She is section of the drama club and manages the center college boys’ basketball and baseball teams under Donald Gipple.

Volunteering is also a passion of hers, doing work the two in the children’s ministry and for Camp 7 Rivers at Seven Rivers Church. “I like to assist and appreciate on those people who need support,” claimed Jennette.
