April 21 (UPI) — Karol G and Terrible Bunny have been the major winners at Thursday night’s 2022 Latin American Music Awards.

Karol G took property a whole of 6 awards which include Artist of the Yr, Beloved Artist — Feminine and Favourite Artist — City as well as Album of the Year and Beloved Album — City for her record KGO516.

Terrible Bunny, who entered the night top the discipline with 10 complete nominations, ended with five victories which include Favored Artist — Male and Song of the Yr for his collaboration with Jhay Cortez “Dakiti.”

The awards were held at the Michelob Extremely Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and On line casino in Las Vegas for the first time and broadcast stay on Telemundo showcasing hosts Rafael Amaya, Jacqueline Bracamontes and Cristian de la Fuenta.

The Black Eyed Peas opened the display with a bilingual performance of their 2003 hit “Exactly where is the Appreciate” as they ended up joined by 20 artists which includes Ozuna, CNCO, Prince Royce, Sofia Reyes and Ukrainian artist NK, who waved the flag of the country that was invaded by Russia in February.

Other massive winners Thursday night provided Aventura who had been voted Favorite Duo or Group, Selena Gomez who won Most loved Artist — Pop. Most loved Album — Tropical winner Romeo Santos and The Weeknd who was named Favourite Crossover Artist.

Mexican artist Christian Nodal was honored with the Incredible Evolution award recognizing ” a youthful performer who haas shown modify and accelerated growth as an artist, to achieve the pinnacle of success in a brief interval of time.”

Following acquiring the award he done a medley of his songs which include “Adios Amor,” “De Los Besos Que Te Di,” “Probablemente,” “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos” and he was also joined by Gera MX for their joint hit “Botella Tras Botella.”
