The award-profitable Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra is bringing a night whole of movie music and magic to the Arcada Theater in downtown St. Charles.
The Youth Symphony, EYSO’s flagship orchestra for highly developed substantial university musicians, will complete “A Evening at the Motion pictures” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29.
Built-for-Hollywood movie scores by distinguished present-day composers (consider John Williams and Howard Shore) will be done along with classical choices by German composer Richard Strauss and American favourite Leonard Bernstein.
Film lovers of all ages will appreciate unforgettable new music from blockbuster films which includes “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “West Side Tale,” “Lord of the Rings,” “Star Wars,” “Casablanca,” and additional.
The event at the Arcada Theater aligns with EYSO’s mission of enriching the life of young musicians and the life of family members, universities, communities and beyond, as a result of the overall performance of excellent music.
“The Arcada Theater’s large regional draw gives EYSO an interesting chance to carry orchestral audio to new audiences,” said Eric Larson, EYSO government director.
