Bar Grand Opening!

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of our outdoor bar, which will aid subsidize and increase our arts programming! Starting in August, we’ll be open up each and every Wed-Sat from 5-11pm (or afterwards). 🍸🍹🍷🍺
🎺 We’re marking the occasion with a free, grand opening celebration on Thu, Aug 4th like jazz performances by Brandon Woody & Pals and tunes from DJ Ned Ryerson!

💕 Toasts: 6pm
🎊 Although Present-day Room has been in operation given that 2004, the amount of activities we’ve held each individual thirty day period was minimal by the amount of one-day licenses we could secure by means of partnerships with nonprofits or by functioning with a caterer. Now, we’re capable to fill our calendar with programming – which includes tunes, exhibitions, workshops, an experimental style clearly show, drag, puppetry, effectiveness artwork, poetry reading, and more!
🙏 The new license was established via point out legislation – thank you to the 40th District Staff with a specific thank you to Condition Senator Antonio Hayes! We’re also grateful to have received a BGE Energizing Smaller Enterprise Grant hosted by Good day Alice, which we put toward the fees of developing out and equipping their bar! Lastly, we’re often grateful to our volunteers, our associates, and all of the astounding artists we are so fortunate to do the job with!
